ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A 10-person jury has ruled in favor of the company that renovated The Pit.

A group of unions sued the Oklahoma company, Flintco, claiming the company manipulated its relationship with then UNM President David Schmidly to land the $60 million deal.

The suit also claimed the major remodeling would have cost $2 million less if a lower bid was accepted.

Santa Fe jury found Flintco not guilty Tuesday of defrauding taxpayers.
