ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque man whose birthday is next week is the state's latest millionaire.

John Baker came forward Friday to claim his $2 million prize from Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

Baker bought five tickets, and two of those won $1 million apiece.

He said he chooses the numbers based on a personal formula he memorized when he used to play keno.

His ticket showed he uses the same numbers in different combinations.

He bought the lucky ticket a the 7-Eleven store on San Pedro Drive NE.

Baker said he plans to spend some of the jackpot and save some, too.
