Post offices to stay open late

ALBUQUERQUE (AP) - For last-minute tax filers, two Albuquerque post offices will be staying open late Thursday.

The Albuquerque Main Post Office and Rio Rancho Post Office will offer late collection points and retail services for last minute tax returns.

Both offices will be open until midnight on April 15. All mail put in the collection boxes at the Main Post Office at 1135 Broadway Blvd. N.E. and the Rio Rancho Post Office at 900 Pinetree Rd. S.E. before 12 midnight will receive the April 15 postmark.

Only IRS returns collected at the Main Post Office and the Rio Rancho Post Office locations before 12 midnight will receive the April 15 postmark.
