Police officer involved in car crash

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque police officer on his way to the scene of that double shooting ended up in a car crash.

Police say the officer was heading south on Louisiana Boulevard, through the intersection at Lomas Boulevard when a woman headed northbound crashed into him.

According to police, the woman claimed she didn't see the officer's squad car.

The officer suffered minor injuries.

The woman who hit him was fine.
