ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police on Tuesday afternoon closed westbound Interstate 40 just west of Carlisle after a three-vehicle accident.

There were no serious injuries reported in the crash around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to Albuquerque Police Department spokesperson Nadine Hamby.

Westbound I-40 was closed for about 45 minutes as crews helped drivers and cleared the scene. It reopened around 3 p.m.
