ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - It's only October, but the Marines are already gearing up their annual Christmas tradition to bring the holiday to those who are less fortunate.
Sunday marked the launch of the 2009 Toys for Tots Campaign.
New Mexico's Marines along with Sandia Casino and Thunderbird Harley Davidson hosted the third annual Toys for Toys motorcycle ride.
The entry fee for the ride was either $20 or a new, unwrapped toy of equal or greater value.
Last year's Toys for Tots campaign provided 28,000 toys to more than 11,000 children.
