Leonard Napolitano dies at 82-year-old

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The father of homeland security secretary Janet Napolitano, and former dean of the UNM School of Medicine, has died.
    
Leonard Napolitano passed away Monday morning of natural causes.
    
He would have been 83-years-old Tuesday.
   
Leonard was a longtime Albuquerque resident and joined the UNM School of Medicine in the mid-60s and was appointed dean in 1972.
    
He's survived by his three children and four grandchildren.
