Jury acquits man in child-sex case

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A District Court Jury Tuesday found an Albuquerque man not guilty in the alleged rape of his girlfriend's son.

Robert Herrera had been charged with criminal sexual penetration, kidnapping and other charges for crimes supposed to have been committed in 1998 when the boy was 7.

On Tuesday a jury in Albuquerque acquitted Herrera of all charges.
