ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - It's a sight New Mexico has seen too little of lately as dark clouds rolled in around the East Mountains Saturday.
The weekend storm system sweeping across the state also brought rain to metro Albuquerque.
It rained off and on for several hours throughout the afternoon making streets and sidewalks slippery.
It's been two weeks since we last saw some moisture in the metro.
With the storm coming from the southwest out of Mexico, most residents saw rain with the snow limited to higher elevations.
And it looks like this gloomy weather will linger as a second system approaching from the northwest moves in on Monday.
