ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The free legal advice fair known as Law-la-palooza will be happening in Albuquerque on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Organizers say the event provides a great opportunity for many people to solicit valuable legal advice. This is at the Westside Community Center on Isleta Boulevard just east of Goff.
District Court Judge Shannon Bacon says they can answer almost any question on topics from domestic relations to immigration, divorce or bankruptcy.
This also provides an opportunity for some who may be facing legal problems to figure out the best approach to save money.
The one-on-one sessions between people and judges or lawyers can last up to 30 minutes.
Organizers recommend those participating should bring all paperwork associated with their question. The meetings are on a first-come, first-serviced basis. Organizers also say they will have bilingual legal representatives on hand as well.
