Firefighters battle blaze in NE home

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - Albuquerque fire fighters battled a massive housefire in the northeast heights Sunday night, near the intersection of Eubank and Indian School.

Dispatchers received the call about 9:20 p.m. Sunday at the home in the 1600 block of Glorieta near Robin. The home was completely engulfed in flames when the first fire crews responded. They immediately asked for backup and crews from several other fire stations responded.

Emergency medical personnel at the scene were working on someone who was pulled out of the burning home. There is no word on who that person was, or their condition. Albuquerque Fire officials are investigating to determine what started the fire.
