Crews investigate overnight apartment fire

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Nearly a dozen people were evacuated from their homes Thursday morning after an apartment fire.
    
Police have the area near Pennsylvania and Zuni blocked off as they continue to investigate.
    
It happened at about 2:50 Thursday morning.
    
When crews arrived there was smoke and flames coming from an abandoned unit, but they quickly put it out.
    
Four families, 11 people in all, in nearby units were evacuated and have all been let back in.
    
The cause is under investigation.
