ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A water leak problem beneath the federal courthouse in downtown has turned into a $3.4 million project.
The Albuquerque Journal reports water had leaked into the underground garage of the courthouse, when either the lawn was watered or a fountain was turned on.
Judges were concerned the water would damage the integrity of the underground garage structure and require expensive repairs.
Now, judges wonder if the project has gone over the top with the whopping price-tag.
The government agency that owns the building disagrees.
