ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Popular Albuquerque sports bar, Coaches, was serving up cold beers for the last time this weekend.

Coaches on Central near University, was showing the lobo football game Saturday night.

KRQE News 13 caught up with the crowd as the owner called his staff together for one last time.

Even first-time visitors say they will miss the place.

The bar and grill opened in 1997 and the owner says it's just time for a change.

He says he's not shutting down because of the economy but his lease was up.
