ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A crash involving a city bus and a pick-up truck sent some people to the hospital.
It happened at San Mateo and Mountain just before 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon.
A witness said the accident happened after the driver of the pick-up tried, but failed to complete a u-turn with the city bus approaching.
“When he tried to reverse back to try to go straight the bus was already coming and just smashed into the side of him,” Aaron Rogers said. “No…the bus definitely didn't have time to stop.”
According to Rogers the bus was packed with people.
The driver of the pick-up truck appeared to be okay.
Three people on the bus were taken to a local hospital.
