Bicyclists ride for visibility, safety

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque bike riders were riding for a cause Sunday to mark the Fourth Annual Can You See Us Now bicycle ride and rally.
The event was aimed at making cyclists more visible to motorists.
The bike ride is in remembrance of fallen cyclists.
"We want other people to be able to enjoy riding a bicycle as much as we do, so we want them to feel safe," Jennifer Buntz, president of the Duke City Wheelmen Foundation, told KRQE News 13.
Riders went down Route 66 from Jefferson Street to Rio Grande Boulevard and then made their way to Tiguex Park in Old Town.
At the park, the names of all cyclists killed on roadways since 1998 were read out loud.
