ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police are still trying to find out who was at fault for a deadly crash this weekend involving an APD sergeant.
Deputies say a police SUV driven by Sergeant Adam Casaus was heading west on Paseo Del Norte when it T-boned another vehicle that was heading north on Eagle Ranch.
Ashley Browder, 21, died in the crash.
Her sister Lindsey was rushed to the hospital with a broken hip and a fractured spine.
Investigators say the sergeant had his lights and siren on.
The sergeant has been with APD since 2000.
He is at home recovering and has not been put on leave.
Police say while they were investigating the accident, a drunk driver slammed into one of their patrol cars.
That driver ended up in jail.
