I-25 reopens after accident

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The lanes of Interstate 25 have reopened near mile post 183 which is south of Belen and just north of the Socorro County line.

Lanes were closed for around two hours while state police investigated an accident. The closure took affect around 1:50 p.m.

There are possibly three vehicles involved in the crash, according to New Mexico State Police Lt. Eric Garcia.

The number of victims and cause of the accident is still unknown at this time.
