ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Officials are investigating a deadly crash that involved a pedestrian.
It happened on Central and Figueroa around 7:30 Sunday night.
Police say 26-year-old Melissa Mexicano crossed central but was not in a crosswalk and was hit by a car.
She died a short time later at the hospital.
Investigators say they will forward the case to the district attorney but it does not appear alcohol or speed were factors on the part of the driver.
