SANTA FE (KRQE) - When investigative reporter Larry Barker first exposed the practice of public employees faking retirement to draw both a salary and a pension, the head of the Public Employees Retirement Association said that was improper. Now he says he misspoke and no one did anything wrong although a legislative leader said he still smells fraud.
