ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A Texas man is going to prison for 60 years as the apparent mastermind of a 2010 kidnapping and robbery that ended in New Mexico.
Investigators say Matthew Casaus and two other men abducted Eileen Loskot near Dallas during a staged car accident.
She was freed unharmed after being forced to withdraw money and drive more than 500 miles to Santa Rosa.
Casaus was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
The other men turned themselves in to police in Albuquerque and are already serving time.
