ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Whole Foods Market says it is voluntarily recalling 4-ounce Whole Catch Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon cold-smoked and sliced over bacteria concerns.

They say a sample tested positive for listeria.

The recalled items were sold in stores in several states including New Mexico and Colorado.

Colorado health officials say no illnesses had been reported as Monday.

The product carries the UPC Code 0 99482 40880 0 and Lot Code 7425A2298B.

The federal Food and Drug Administration is telling consumers to dispose of the product and then wash their hands to avoid cross-contamination.  Refunds are being given at the store, according to the FDA.
