West Nile virus caseload grows

SANTA FE (KRQE) - Five new cases of West Nile virus have been reported in New Mexico since Tuesday bringing this year's total to 26.

The new cases are in Bernalillo, Doña Ana and San Juan counties.

So far there has been one death in New Mexico from West Nile.

The victim was a 76-year old man from Bernalillo County.
