ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - New Mexico faces another listeria scare as prepackaged barbecue chicken salads sold at Trader Joe's are being recalled.
FDA inspectors say the salads contain diced onions that may be contaminated with the potentially deadly listeria bacteria.
Products with use-by dates through July 30th are subject to the recall.
Some of those salads were distributed in New Mexico.
So far, no illnesses have been reported in this case.
Earlier this year, a listeria outbreak from tainted cantaloupe killed 30 people including five New Mexicans.
