Seasonal flu shots for Navajo Nation

Mass Vaccination October 7, 2009

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) - The mass vaccination initiative is sponsored by the Navajo Area Indian Health Service, the Navajo Nation, Tuba City Regional Health Corporation, Winslow Indian Health Center, Inc., Sage Memorial Hospital, McKinley County, and other health care partners in the region.

On October 7, 2009, flu shot clinics will be held at the following locations on and near the Navajo Nation:

Chinle, Arizona: Chinle High School Wildcat Den
7:00 am – 11:00 am (DST)

Crownpoint, New Mexico High School
9:00 am – 3:00 pm (DST)

Dilkon, AZ: Public Health Nursing Building
7:00 am -3:00 pm  (DST)

Dzilth Na O Dith Hle, NM Health Center
12:00 pm – 7:00 pm (DST)

Fort Defiance, AZ: Window Rock High School Field House
6:00 am to Noon (DST)
