Residents string up bras for good cause

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The Montano Bridge on Friday morning was adorned with around 1,000 bras for a good cause.

Each bra resulted in a donation to the American Cancer Society and breast cancer research.

It was part of a spectacle called "Bras Across the Bosque."

The bras were collected at businesses across the city and many organizations like Lovelace and Clear Channel Radio contributed money for each bra donated.

When the bras come down, they'll be cleaned and donated to the Storehouse where they'll be available to those in need.
