ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - It looks like former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson is getting some support from Michigan.
The Michigan Libertarian Party is pledging to appeal a court decision that keeps Johnson off the state ballot as a presidential candidate.
Michigan election officials will not allow Johnson to run as the libertarian candidate because he ran in the republican presidential primary earlier this year and lost.
Michigan state law does not allow a losing candidate to run in the general election for another political party.
