ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The death of a "Lone Ranger" crew member on the set of the movie has sparked an investigation by the feds.

Mike Bridger died in Los Angeles Friday apparently from a heart attack while working in a large water tank.

The celebrity gossip website TMZ is reporting the Occupational Health and Safety Administration is looking into the circumstances surrounding Bridger's death.

The report could take up to six months to complete.

According to Bridger's family, they believe he died from a heart attack and do not blame the production for his death.

The Johnny Depp-Armie Hammer flick had been filming in New Mexico and parts of Colorado before moving to la earlier this month.
