SANTA FE (KRQE) - Ski Santa Fe will postpone the start of the 2009 ski season until after the Thanksgiving holiday.
The early natural snowfall that was followed by unseasonably warm temperatures resulted in the delay.
Ski Santa Fe will delay their opening until they get more of the white stuff.
Officials at Ski Santa Fe said they could be ready to open within 48 hours in the event of a big storm.
