Rising water reopens lake's boat ramp

FORT SUMNER, N.M. (KRQE) - Good news for boaters thanks to all that recent rain.
The state reopened the eastside boat ramp at Sumner Lake State Park Wednesday.
The low water levels forced the closure of the ramps a few weeks ago.
Along with the rain, water releases from Santa Rosa Lake farther up the Pecos River have helped bring water levels up.
