BANDELIER NATIONAL MONUMENT, N.M. (KRQE) - Santa Fe National Forest personnel are investigating how a fire started in the Bandelier National Monument wilderness area.
Fire crews told KRQE News 13 that the fire is estimated at three acres and is not threatening any structures.
As of 5:30 p.m. Thursday crews were en route by air to check on the fire activity. There is no word on how the fire started, and fire personel have not assigned a named to the fire.
