TUCUMCARI, N.M. (KRQE) - Dropping water levels in New Mexico lakes have prompted the closure of another boat ramp.
The ramp at Conchas Lake closed Friday.
Low precipitation and high temperatures have resulted in the closures.
The ramps will reopen when conditions improve.
Boaters are also encouraged to watch out for islands emerging in the lake.
Earlier this month a boat ramp at El Vado Lake State Park in Rio Arriba County was closed and vehicle access to some areas was limited due to lower water levels.
