Bear captured near Cedar Crest

CEDAR CREST, N.M. (KRQE) - A big black bear was captured near Cedar Crest Thursday morning.

He was caught rummaging through someone's trash. It's the second bear recently spotted in the area going through trash to find food. Food is scarce right now for bears.

The bear was darted by Game and Fish and will be relocated to the western part of the state.
