LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) - Police say one woman faked being tied up on the UNM campus in Los Alamos and now she's in big trouble.

The Los Alamos Monitor reports 20-year-old Genevieve Salas is charged with making a false police report after she told police a tall, Latino man grabbed her and tied her up.

Police found Salas with bound by electrical tape Wednesday, after a friend called 911.

She told the tall tale and then later admitted it was all a hoax.
