ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Add two more Lobos to the list of players who won't be suiting up Saturday because they got in trouble.
Those players have been suspended because they violated NCAA rules.
UNM says senior defensive tackles Rod Davis and Fatu Ulale were given benefits they shouldn't have received during the 2011 season.
The university, however, isn't saying what those benefits were.
Davis has been suspended for the first two games, Ulale for the first four.
That brings the total number of Lobo football players suspended this week to four.
Walk-on David Vega, an all-state quarterback at Goddard High School in Roswell, was arrested at his home Sunday.
Police say he wouldn't tell them his name so they arrested him for concealing his identity and possessing alcohol.
Then there's Devonta Tabannah, a starting defensive back, who was arrested Saturday night downtown for allegedly driving drunk and almost running into a cop.
Both have been suspended.
Head coach Bob Davie hasn't commented yet on the latest trouble. KRQE News 13 is at practice and expects to have his reaction on News 13 at 10 p.m.
