ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - APS is investigating a claim that a teacher hurt a student.

Matthew grant, a Jimmy Carter Middle School seventh grader, says she grabbed him and threw him scratching his neck.

No word on sparked the alleged attack.

The boy's father filed a report with APS.

The father says he will press charges.

“No matter what he did, that teacher grabbed him out of anger. She has no right to grab him, period. It's just wrong what she did to him,” the boy’s father, Robert Grant, said.
