ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque mother is dead set on teaching her daughter a lesson even if it means public embarrassment.
Toni Armijo made her 10-year-old daughter Bonnie sit at Wyoming Boulevard and Central Avenue on Friday holding a sign that said, "I vandalized my school."
Bonnie was recently caught throwing rocks through the windows at Hawthorne Elementary School.
Toni Armijo told KRQE News 13 the public punishment has been a positive experience.
It's far from over for the girl, however. She still faces possible suspension from school.
