Breaking Bad star running for school board

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Breaking Bad actor Steven Michael Quezada is running for the Albuquerque School Board.
 
Quezada who stars as DEA agent Steven Gomez in the show is a lifelong resident of Albuquerque.

He is also a father of four.

Quezada is running for district five which is a newly created district on Albuquerque’s Westside.
 
At this point Quezada is the only one who has filed and the deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday.

“Albuquerque’s my home,” Quezada said. “I want my kids and all of our children to be able to go to any public or charter school and receive and excellent education. It's our responsibility to make sure no child falls through the cracks.”
