ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Many people say the buildings at UNM need a facelift, but that’s an expense the state says they just can’t afford. But voters could have a say in changing that by voting yes to “Bond C” this November.
If Bond C is approved $119 million could go to fixing up 29 New Mexico colleges and universities, including UNM. That’s if enough people vote yes for Bond C.
This money is something the group called GO for Education says these schools need, for everything from making classrooms more modern to fixing up old and in some cases, extremely run down buildings.
