ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque woman arrested Sunday is believed to be the robber with a fake bomb who tried to hold up a bank on Friday, according to the FBI.
Emma Rosemary Hossy, 22, was expected to make her initial appearance in federal court on Monday.
Albuquerque police arrested her on Sunday although details of the investigation and arrest have not been released.
The robber, whom witnesses described as a young woman, entered the Wells Fargo bank at Montgomery Boulevard NE and Eubank just before noon Friday carrying a small package wrapped in duct tape.
She placed the package on a teller's counter and demanded money saying she would press a detonator and blow up the building if the teller didn't comply, the FBI reported.
Instead the robber apparently saw the teller press an emergency button, and she quickly fled without any cash.
The package was not a bomb, according to the FBI.
