Red-light runner may have hit bicyclist

Woman may face charges in bicyclist death

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Three witnesses say the bicyclist killed in the heights on Tuesday , may have been hit by a red-light runner.

A police report reveals that witnesses saw Carol Svinarich run the red near Osuna Road and Jefferson Street, running into Scott Lane.

Svinarich claims her light was green, maybe yellow, when she crossed the road.

Lane died Wednesday from his injuries.

The DA's office will now decide if Svinarich will face charges
