Victim takes stand in Sandoval trial

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A 21-year-old man took the stand Friday in the case of the alleged “Arroyo Molester.” The man says he was 11-years-old when Genaro Sandoval raped him at gunpoint.
Sandoval is accused of attacking young boys in arroyos around Northeast Albuquerque from 2003 to 2005.
The victim who took the stand Friday says he took a shortcut home near Embudito Arroyo in 2003 when Sandoval approached him and allegedly raped him. He told the court Friday he felt that he couldn’t’ say anything because Sandoval had a gun.
The victim's parents are expected to testify Friday.
