ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A group of young vandals appear to be pretty proud of the graffiti they scrawled at an Albuquerque Rail Runner station as they can be seen in surveillance video snapping photos of their handiwork.
The vandals hit the Los Ranchos Journal Center station near Paseo and 2nd Street just after 3 a.m. Monday.
Rail Runner spokeswoman Augusta Meyers says they believe at least three teenagers are responsible.
Meyers hopes someone recognizes the vandals, who will face fines.
The city’s graffiti removal team cleaned up the walls Monday morning.
If the vandals are caught they will have to pay fines for the cleanup as well – if they are minors they’re parents could have to pay.
