Three arrested in violent break-in

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Three people are now behind bars for an apartment robbery in Albuquerque Monday night.

Police say Jamaal Lee, 24, Anthony Benavidez, 21, and Daniel Sturvivant, 22, broke into an apartment on Dallas Street SE near Pennsylvania and Zuni.

Victims told police they were beaten by suspects who forced their way in while others worked to take items in the apartment.

They face charges from kidnapping to robbery with a deadly weapon, according to online records at the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center.
