ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Testimony began Thursday in the first trial of the alleged "Arroyo Molester. "

Investigators say Genaro Sandoval attacked a number of boys in arroyos in the Northeast Heights from 2003 to 2005.

Right now he is on trial for one case.

Prosecutors say Sandoval lured an 11-year-old boy under a bridge and raped him in 2003.

They say they have DNA to prove this.

Sandoval is accused of molesting five other boys in arroyos in the heights over the years.

Those cases will be handled separately.
