CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico - Two men suspected of being the hired guns who executed six people including an airman from New Mexico in a Juarez club have captured by the Mexican army.

The men, identified as Jose Gabriel Moreno, 26, and Juan Pablo Gonzalez, 19, were detained Saturday after officials received an anonymous tip. The army reported confiscating to AK-47 assault rifles and nearly 20 pounds of marijuana.

Moreno and Gonzalez are suspects in the execution-style killings of six people at the Amadeus Bar, a strip club, early on the morning of Nov. 4.

One of the victims was Sgt. David Booher from Holloman Air Force Base. Witnesses said the shooters went directly for their victims ignoring others in the club.

There also was a report that Booher, who worked with the Holloman ambulance service, was trying to administer first aid to one of the victims when he was shot.

More than 2,000 people have been murdered in Juarez this year with most of the violence attributed to warring between two rival drug cartels for control of drug markets and distribution routes.
