SANTA FE (KRQE) - A New Mexico State Police officer shot and killed a suspect after a vehicle and foot chase in Clovis early Saturday morning.
Benjamin Salgado, 29, died at the scene around 12:45 p.m., according to a statement released by State Police several hours later.
Details of what led to the pursuit and shooting have not yet been released.
State Police are investigating the shooting, and at last report State Police evidence technicians were working the scene.
