FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) - A Farmington man accused of killing his father claims it was an accident.
Martin Casas-Rodriguez, 53, told police he was upset after his father allegedly asked family members for sex including Rodriguez’s own wife.
Rodriguez told police he pointed a gun at his father to scare him.
But instead police say it went off.
Officers say his father, Eleuterio Casas, had dementia and alzheimer's.
His son is charged with an open count of murder.
