Shooting wounds man in Carnuel

CARNUEL, N.M. (KRQE) - Bernalillo County sheriff's deputies are investigating an early morning shooting that happened in a Tijeras Canyon community Thursday.

At about 5 a.m. a man knocked on the door of a home on Knight Lane in Carnuel asking the people inside.

Deputies did say a man was shot twice in the back and taken to the hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

So far investigators have not found the scene of the shooting.

The victim's name has not been released.
