SFPD: Man beat friend with hammer

SANTA FE (KRQE) - A Santa Fe man is in jail Monday after police say he beat his friend unconscious with a hammer.
On Sunday Santa Fe police say Jeffery Konwin, 27, beat Theodore Pacheco, 39, so badly he was barely breathing when police arrived at the scene near Saint Francis and Saint Michaels Drive.
Police say the men were drinking when they got into some sort of argument.
Konwin is in jail on a no bond hold.
